Community

Today we have  a wide variety of Open Source projects that provide everything from operating systems to desktop applications.  The robustness of these applications is both feature rich, and well supported by user communities, or through support subscription programs.  Claudia Imhoff of Intelligent Solutions has just completed a new paper titled "Open Sesame: Why Open Source BI and Data Warehousing Solutions are Gaining in Acceptance."  This is a great resource for anyone that is looking at diving into the world of Open Source for BI and Data Warehousing.
