Today we've released two virtual machine images with the 32bit version of ICE pre-configured. These images are Ubuntu, and have had most packages removed in order to get the image size as small as possible. One image is a standard ZIP archive, and other is significantly smaller but you'll need to install a third party decompressor. We have installation instructions available on the Wiki. These images have been tested on Windows XP, and Mac OS X. Should you have any questions/concerns, please use the Forums to get some help.

Today ICE 3.0 went gold, and is available immediately for download in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions for Linux.

This version includes optimizations for COUNT DISTINCT with GROUP BY.  You should see significant performance improvements here.  We've also added a new option to the configuration file that allows you to disable the MySQL query path.  Please note that the MySQL path is disabled by default.  You can read the latest release notes here.
