ICE 3.3 builds the strong query performance improvements delivered in ICE 3.2 adding more SQL capabilities, and enhanced BI tool connectivity. The following include the new features released in the 3.2.1 interim version:

• Improved Query performance
  
  • Enhanced cache management provides much faster load and query times especially with incremental or trickle feeds
    
    
• Enhanced SQL capabilities
  
  • Added support for key statistical aggregation functions (STDDEV, VARIANCE, STDDEV_SAMP, VAR_SAMP, STDDEV_POP, VAR_POP)
    
    
• MicroStrategy Support
  
  • Completed testing with MicroStrategy, who will now include Infobright as a supported database for the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server 9.0
    
    
• Support for “Named Pipes” on Windows
  
  • Enables Windows users to utilize the Infobright BI Tool connectors that were developed to provide easy integration with ETL tools including Talend Open Studio, JasperETL, Pentaho Data Integration and other products
    
  • Also facilitates a more efficient method transporting of data rather than reading and writing files from disk
