Infobright Blog

Almost a year ago, Infobright created an office at the University of Illinois' Research Park.  In this park, the University established a group/building specifically designed to help fledglings and startups collaborate amongst themselves, share common expenses, and utilize many University resources.  Infobright joined this start-up incubator, called EnterpriseWorks, to initiate its internship program as well as push its community involvement.

By being within this incubator, Infobright founded its internship program with great success.  Here is a list of activities already performed within Infobright's intern/community team:

• Ad-Hoc Analytic Performance Improvements using Infobright w/ Zend White Paper (Q1 2011)
• Infobright / EchoNest MillionSong Dataset Open-Source Project (Q2 2011)
• Cross-Product Beta Testing with promising start-ups such as Nuvixa and Frequent Browser

With so much more ready to go, the Infobright intern team at EnterpriseWorks believes their success is due greatly by the generous and full support of EnterpriseWorks.  We are excited to see the University of Illinois receive its well-deserved recognition, and we look forward to their many successes.
