After long hours of planning and preparing for our first ever coding competition, the day is finally here!  From today through April 18, we will accept submissions for two separate software competitions:

  1. Business Case Competition - Outline a use case and describe how ICE can solve the use case.  This competition will serve as a potential backdrop for upcoming application development competitions.
  2. Application Development - Develop/Hack a cool application using ICE.  This competition serves as something really fun to do.  Whether its an Apple's ObjectiveC, Facebook's FBXML, Cloud, or LAMP, we want it all!

During this period, we will host several office hours on the community forums.  Our engineering team will intentily focus on that forum during that time to ensure the highest quality support.  If you need help and can't wait for the office hours, still post to that forum group to get assistance.  While we may not answer within a few minutes, we should get back to you shortly.

For both categories, we will award $1500 to the best submissions.  Prizes will also be awarded for second place.  Judging criteria has been provided for both of these competitions.  If you have any questions about the contest, please feel free to e-mail (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
