In India, Elephants will swim over a kilometer from island to island; I could not have imagined an elephant swimming that distance.  For some things in life, you honestly can't believe it until you see it.  When I tell you that Infobright maintains superior performance in ad-hoc analytics, I want to show you the power as well.  As the new community manager, I pledge to provide those strong examples which prove Infobright's capabilities.

To start, we recently opened our internship program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Our interns will create cool, fun applications built on top of Infobright's community edition database.  These applications will be free to use and download; the group will work on phone, web, and computer apps of different operating systems. 

In addition, we will be creating quick, demonstrative videos which showcase the power of our database.  While our YouTube Channel (InfobrightDB) has a few videos showing the power of Infobright, we want to create additional videos which focus on certain use cases.  We will be soliciting feedback from the community regarding the application development and the videos.  If you want a video which demonstrates a particular feature, we will place it in our queue.
