Hello and welcome to the new infobright.org community! Infobright has made a significant investment in the open source world by releasing our data warehousing platform, the Infobright Community Edition (ICE) as open source software. It is going to be an exciting ride.
We’ve got a wealth of information that we’re going to be adding to the community over the coming months including:
tutorials on data warehousing
advanced courses on BI integration with ICE
blogs where you can participate with industry leaders
Today we’re opening up our forums, and making v3.0 of ICE available - head over and download the binaries, or the source code. We've started a poll on the main page regarding preferred operating system, so we'd love to have you chime in and give us your opinion. Andrew Flint, our Product Manager has also started a poll within the Roadmap forum (forum registration required to view/post) regarding upcoming functionality for ICE - stop by and give him some of your input as that will be valuable in our product planning process.
I’ve taken on the roll of Community Guy, and will be your community advocate relaying the infobright.org community back to the mothership. You’ll be finding me at community events such as the MySQL show in April, along with other industry events. Please feel free to contact me at any time - I’m here to support you all.
The new site looks great!
