I grew up in a family of electrical engineers and so became one myself.  Started my career designing telecommunications networks including in Thailand, Hong Kong, Benelux, and Hungary.  A first generation Canadian, my parents are german and so i learnt to speak fluent german - albeit with a Mannheimer dialect! and i LOVE europe.  Italy is a particular favorite.  I moved into sales and business development building and growing new and emerging technologies.  There were some great successes with a number of emerging technologies in the ecommerce and security space.  I have been with Infobright since January 2006 and have great passion for our customers, partners, and employees.  In my spare time (ha!), i love to run and have a cottage in remote northern ontario which is water access.  I love to go fishing but only like to fish for pike and bass - fighting over a worm with a walleye is boring for me (aside from the fact that the walleye usually wins)!
