Does infobright iee have some limits on data saveing?

I have a program written by python which is used to start 8 or more threads to call “load data local infile…” to load some files into iee. when I start 6 threads,it can work normally, but when I start 8 threads, the following call returns error:
cur.execute(“load data local infile ‘%s’ into table %s fields terminated by ...

and the program occurs “runtime error”.

What’s the problems?
Does IEE has limits on the connections at the same time?Where can config it?
Or some else problems?

http://www.infobright.org/downloads/sampledata/windows/readme_windows.txt says:

—Last updated 20100802 (for Windows) ...
Unzip the <data>_carsales.zip file.

I cannot find any file whose name ends in carsales.zip on http://www.infobright.org. I also cannot find any *carsales.* file dated after 5/16/09.

When I try to go to http://www.infobright.org/downloads/sampledata/, I get the following message.

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /downloads/sampledata/ on this server.
Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu) Server at http://www.infobright.org Port 80

A few days ago I found a *carsales.tar file that contained files dated 5/8/09 and 5/16/09. Is a newer version of the carsales sample database available?

If the Mountain Won’t Come to Mohammed

This forum is named “Community Banter.” This post is definitely “banter,” with no relevance to “Open source Column-oriented SQL database management software for data warehousing and business intelligence,” or even to “machine-generated data.”

Infobright CEO Don DeLoach wrote an interesting article at http://cloudcomputing.sys-con.com/node/1927082. In that article he wrote, “If the Mountain Won’t Come to Moses….”

When I searched Google for “Mountain Won’t Come to Moses,” the four top ranked references, and the sixth, used “Muhammad,” “Mohammed,” or “Mahomet” instead of “Moses.” The fifth and seventh through fifteenth ranked references did not include “Mountain Won’t Come.”

It seems that most people associate the mountain that won’t come to someone with Mohammed rather than Moses. Nevertheless, I would not expect a mountain to come to Moses either.

ICE supports several operating systems, but I have found a few posts (and spoke to a few people at the MySQL Conf) requesting updates to our supported operating systems. I’d like your input to help guide our discussion. For reference, here’s a list of our current supported operating systems. What would you like to see changed?

Note: Nothing is binding, and not all can be upgraded instantaneously. Please don’t vote for all—it won’t help me decide which to push first.

If there’s not an option listed in this poll, then add your comment. Alternatively, you can e-mail me at jeff at infobright dot com.

Supported Platforms
ICE is available on the following platforms for 64-bit Intel or 64-bit AMD:
 Windows Server 2003
 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
 Debian ‘Lenny’
 CentOS 5.2

ICE is also available on the following platforms for 32-bit Intel or 32-bit AMD: (for solution testing purposes only, not recommended for performance testing or production deployments):
 Windows XP
 Ubuntu 8.04
 Fedora 9
