Vmware started, front page port 80 with mysql connect instructions ok… ports oppened:

111/tcp open rpcbind
514/tcp open shell
3306/tcp open mysql
8009/tcp open ajp13
8080/tcp open http-proxy

how can I see JasperSoft? Doesn’t it have a web interface? Must I install a client?

I’m in the same situation. I’ve got the VM running, there are instructions for accessing the database. But, no instructions on how to run the Jaspersoft tools.

1) first find out the IP address of the VM using “ifconfig”

2) http://x.x.x.x:8080/jasperserver (where x.x.x.x is the IP address from step 1)

3) Login: jasperadmin/jasperadmin
