Hi,

I am using standalone jasper server downloaded from jasperforge.org. Previously i was using mysql as database. Now i am exploring Infobright for better performance. Therefore i installed ICE and migrated my MYIsam tables to infobright tables.
Then i pointed my standalone jasper server to new Infobright database.

My question is:
will there be any benefit if i use integrated jasper/ICE as compared to standalone jasper/ICE as explained above? If yes then what kind of benefit?

I think there should not be any difference but as i am newbie i just want to confirm this.

Hi Arun,

Not sure if this answers your question.

The only way to load ICE is to use bulk load. Since ICE does not support “LOAD LOCAL INFILE” you are probably best to run Jasper/ETL on the same server as ICE.

If you are just talking Jasper Reporting then your current setup should be fine.

Cheers
