I am in the process of transferring data and contacts onto a Mysql database.
I have had some help and am trying to get a software solution. 

So main features would be to migrate large amounts of data and contacts every day. The migration would be done manually.

Are you looking to migrate to ICE?

The loader and compression should be very interesting for you. One thing you may want to look is the Talend packaged VM available as a download from this site. It has both Talend ETL and ICE packaged together with a sample load job for illustration purposes.

You may also want to check out some of the blogs and white papers that cover migration to IEE.
