Any interest in having us port ICE to OS/X on the Mac?

Second that. Much of my development is done on a Mac, even though I typically deploy to RHEL/CentOS

I would also like to request that! adding Mac OS/X support would increase your target market exponentially. So please do it soon!

Yes, please. I have some weather and financial data that could really use ICE. I use Sybase IQ on Linux for the day job and would love to have something competitive for MySQL on Mac for my home office projects.

Thanks.

Hi Bob Zurek or Jeff Kibler -

Just curious how Brighthouse on Mac OS X is panning out? Can you provide a quick update?

Thanks.

Please, any update on this?
I would really like to run Infobright CE natively on MAC OS/X…

I have ready a MBP running Intel Core I7, 16 GB RAM + 600 GB Intel SSD disk to test it smile

Is it just a matter of compiling the source code on Mac OS X or you have to code something new?

Thank you

Michael

We are currently working on a open source compile for the Mac OsX natively.  Once we have the compile, which at the moment we are trying to overcome a librt error using a Macports, it will be released as an open source project to the community and supported only through the community.

Good news…

I’m not an expert coder, but if you need muscles to test, I can do that smile
Just drop me a line if I can help… I just received today my Lacie 4 TB Thunderbolt external enclosure, with a fast 2 HDD Raid 0 array to run my databases

Have a good day

I will definately let you know when it is ready to test.  I am hoping to have it ready within the next four weeks.

That’s great news, Craig. Please ping me for testing, as well. I have 22 billion records per day of weather data looking for a better place to live. And, uhhh, what kind of beer do you drink?
