NEW! (May 26th) - Today we are releasing versions of ICE with new installers designed to improve the ICE user experience, facilitate ease-of-install, and remove any installation and memory configuration errors seen in the community forums and feedback.

The install packages automatically set the optimal memory configuration based on the physical memory of the system, as well as set defaults for configuration options, and allow for overrides. A post install script can be run at any time to update configuration settings, removing the need to hand edit config files.

The packages also automatically detect an upgrade versus a new install, and will update the software while preserving the users data and configuration settings. The packages also support a full uninstall that removes all traces of ICE, again while preserving the users data.

The new packages include:

•     RPM packages for Red Hat, CentOS, and Fedora
•     DEB packages for Debian and Ubuntu
•     An install.exe wizard for Windows
