I can’t resist going back to the Toronto 2007 conference mentioned by our CEO in her recent post. It was a great undertaking and inspiration. The details are still available at the conference homepage. The papers are here and here.

There are two moments that I remember particularly well out of that event. The first one was the Opening Ceremony featured by presidents of York University, MaRS Discovery District and Infobright. The second moment was related to the first presentation of our technology to the academic community. Actually, I should still have that presentation. I’ll post it on our rough set forum.

Oh, there was one more interesting moment. I lent my laptop to one of keynote speakers. However, I forgot to turn wireless off. Then, in the middle of his talk, my wife sent me a skype message…
