Infobright Launches New Low-cost Enterprise Subscriptions; Launch of
Open Source Data Warehouse; and Round C Funding

Over the past several weeks Infobright has made a number of major announcements. Here are the highlights:

Low Cost Enterprise Subscriptions:
Our new subscription pricing makes data warehousing affordable for all companies that depend on business intelligence to drive their success. The Silver, Gold and Platinum pricing packages are based on the level of support required and include a software license for the solution, product updates, as well as discounts on training and professional services. The per terabyte subscription pricing is $9,950 for the Silver package, $12,950 for the Gold, and $15,950 for the Platinum. We also announced that our flagship product, formerly called “Brighthouse”, has been renamed “Infobright Enterprise Edition” (IEE).

Launch of Open Source Infobright Community Edition:
On Sept 15 we announced the availability of our new open source data warehouse software, Infobright Community Edition (ICE). This enterprise-class, self-managing solution is a proven alternative to today’s high-cost, high-maintenance data warehouse products.

We have also launched www.infobright.org, the new community home and development portal for open source enthusiasts with corporate data warehouse needs.

Infobright Raises $10M in Round C Funding:
New investor Sun Microsystems joined our existing investors Flybridge Capital Partners and RBC Venture Partners in this Round C funding. While the funding marks Sun Microsystems’ first financial investment in Infobright, the two companies have an existing sales relationship around Sun’s MySQL(TM) open source database and Infobright’s data warehouse engine. In conjunction with today’s investment, Sun and Infobright plan to enhance their collaboration on joint sales and marketing.
